  • 1 pound Ground Lamb Enhances the meatballs with a rich, juicy essence.
  • 1 teaspoon Salt Elevates flavors and enriches the overall taste.
  • 1/2 teaspoon Ground Pepper Adds warmth and spice.
  • 2-3 tablespoons Minced Fresh Mint Brings a refreshing, aromatic component.
  • 1/4 cup Minced Shallot Offers a subtle sweetness and depth.
  • 1 teaspoon Oregano Contributes earthy and slightly bitter notes.
  • 3 cloves Garlic, minced Enhances the overall flavor of the meatballs.

Method

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine all the ingredients: ground beef, ground lamb, salt, pepper, minced mint, shallot, oregano, and garlic. Mix using your hands until well combined.
  3. Using a small 1-inch cookie scoop, scoop the meat mixture and roll into balls. Place them on a lined cookie sheet, spacing them 1 inch apart.
Cooking
  1. Bake the meatballs in the preheated oven for about 15 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 165 degrees Fahrenheit.
  2. Transfer the cooked meatballs onto a plate lined with paper towels to drain any excess fat.
  3. Serve immediately or store in a sealed container in the fridge.

Notes

Use fresh ingredients for the best flavor. Experiment with spices like cumin or paprika for added dimension. Avoid overworking the meat to keep the meatballs tender.
