Ingredients

Pizza Dough & Toppings
  • 1 container refrigerated pizza dough Offers a perfectly soft base for the crust.
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil Adds depth to the crust.
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced Introduces an aromatic punch.
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning Brings the essence of Italy.
  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded Creates the iconic cheesy stretch.
  • ½ cup shredded Parmesan cheese Adds sharp, salty notes.
  • 5 ounces mini pepperonis Add a savory kick.
  • ¼ cup pickled jalapeños, diced Provides a zesty twist.
  • 1 jar Marinara sauce Rich tomato goodness for dipping.

Method

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C) and lightly spray a baking sheet with non-stick cooking spray.
  2. On a lightly floured surface, roll out the refrigerated pizza dough until it reaches your desired thickness for a thin yet sturdy crust.
  3. In a small bowl, combine olive oil, minced garlic, and Italian seasoning.
  4. Brush the oil mixture generously over the pizza crust, covering all areas to help crisp the edges.
  5. Sprinkle mozzarella cheese, Parmesan cheese, mini pepperonis, and diced jalapeños over the crust, leaving about a half-inch border.
  6. Carefully roll up the pizza dough into a tight log and slice it into 1-inch pieces.
Baking
  1. Place the rolls on your prepared baking sheet, spacing them out slightly for expansion.
  2. Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the tops are golden brown and the cheese is bubbling.
  3. Serve warm with marinara sauce for dipping.

Notes

For a crispier crust, bake the pizza rolls on a preheated pizza stone. You can add crushed red pepper flakes for a spicy kick or switch cheese types for variations.
