Method

Preparation
  1. About 20 to 30 minutes before grilling, pull the steaks out of the refrigerator to let them come to room temperature.
  2. Brush both sides of the steaks generously with olive oil, then sprinkle them with kosher salt and ground black pepper.
Grilling
  1. Turn your grill to high heat and allow it to preheat.
  2. Once hot, carefully place the steaks on the grill and cook for 4 to 5 minutes without moving them.
  3. Turn the steaks over and continue grilling for an additional 3 to 5 minutes for medium-rare doneness.
  4. Use an instant-read thermometer to check for an internal temperature of 130°F.
Resting and Serving
  1. Remove the steaks from the grill and place them on a cutting board. Top with Garlic Herb Compound Butter.
  2. Cover loosely with foil and let them rest for about 5 minutes to allow juices to redistribute.
  3. Slice the steaks against the grain and serve with melted butter sauce drizzled over.

Notes

Use quality meat for the best results. Customize the compound butter with your favorite herbs or citrus zest. Always allow steaks to rest for optimal flavor and texture.
