Ingredients

Main Ingredients
  • 1 lb steak, cut into bite-sized pieces Tender cuts like sirloin or ribeye work best.
  • 1/2 tbsp salt Enhances the natural flavor of the steak.
  • 1/2 tbsp pepper Adds a subtle kick.
  • 3 tsp paprika Imparts a sweet, smoky note.
  • 1 tbsp canola or vegetable oil For smooth cooking.
  • 3 tbsp butter Adds a creamy texture.
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced Provides aromatic depth.
  • 2 tbsp parsley, minced Adds freshness and color.
  • 2 tbsp cilantro, minced Enhances overall flavor.

Method

Preparation
  1. In a ziplock bag or bowl, combine the bite-sized steak pieces with salt, pepper, and paprika. Mix well until all pieces are evenly coated.
Cooking
  1. Heat a skillet over medium-high heat and add the canola or vegetable oil. Swirl the pan to coat it evenly.
  2. Carefully add the seasoned steak bites to the pan and let them cook undisturbed for a few minutes until browned on one side. Turn them over to sear each side, cooking for about 3-4 minutes per side.
  3. Once fully cooked, remove the steak bites from the pan and drain the excess oil. Place the steak bites back in the pan.
  4. Add the butter, minced garlic, parsley, and cilantro to the pan. Lower the heat to medium-low and toss the steak bites in the mixture.
  5. Let the butter melt and the garlic become fragrant, which should take about a minute.
  6. Turn off the heat and serve your Garlic Herb Steak Bites immediately.

Notes

For extra flavor, marinate the steak in the seasonings for a few hours before cooking. Consider adding cayenne pepper for a spicy kick.
