  • 1 large head Broccoli, florets and stems trimmed Adds vibrant color and healthy crunch.

Method

Preparation
  1. Rinse the jasmine rice under cold water until the water runs mostly clear. Place the rice into a saucepan with cold water and a pinch of salt. Bring to a boil, cover, and reduce heat to low. Cook for 12 minutes, then let it steam for 4 minutes.
  2. Cut the broccoli into evenly sized florets, trim the woody ends, and slice the tender inner stem. Steam the broccoli parts over boiling water for 4-5 minutes until just tender.
Cooking

  2. Heat peanut oil in a large pan or wok over medium-high heat. Add beef mince and a small pinch of salt. Sear undisturbed for 1 minute, break it up, and cook for another 7-8 minutes until browned.
  3. Pour the prepared sauce into the pan and add steamed broccoli. Stir well and cook for an additional 2 minutes.
Serving
  1. Divide the sticky garlic beef into meal prep containers and allow to cool slightly before sealing.

Notes

To elevate the dish, marinate the beef in soy sauce and honey for up to an hour before cooking. Consider adding chopped peanuts or sesame seeds for crunch. Adjust garlic level in the sauce to preference.
