Ingredients

Main Ingredients
  • 3 pieces Boneless chicken breast (about 2lb) These plump, juicy breasts act as the star of the dish.
  • ¼ cup olive oil Adds moisture and enhances flavor.
  • ½ tablespoon Herbs de Provence Brings an aromatic bouquet of flavors.
  • 2 teaspoons garlic granules Infuses the chicken with a savory punch.
  • 1 whole Lemon juice + zest Imparts freshness.
  • to taste Salt and black pepper Ensure each bite is well-seasoned.

Method

Preparation
  1. Remove any unwanted fat from the chicken breasts and place them in a Ziploc bag or large bowl.
  2. In a small bowl, whisk together the olive oil, lemon juice, lemon zest, garlic granules, Herbs de Provence, salt, and black pepper until fully combined.
  3. Pour the marinade over the chicken breasts, massaging it gently with your hands until the meat is entirely coated. Let it sit to marinate for a minimum of 30 minutes or up to 12 hours in the refrigerator.
Cooking
  1. Preheat your air fryer to 390°F (195°C) for about 3-5 minutes. Spray the air fryer basket with cooking oil.
  2. Place the marinated chicken in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Cook for a total of 18 to 20 minutes, flipping the chicken halfway through. Ensure the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
  3. Once cooked, remove the chicken from the basket and transfer it to a plate. Cover loosely with foil and allow it to rest for about 5 minutes.
  4. Slice the marinated chicken and serve immediately.

Notes

Marinate overnight for maximum flavor. Adjust cooking time if using different cuts of chicken. Consider using flavored oils for added taste.
